Drilling and milling tools since 1865
In October 1865 the drill smith Friedrich August Mühlhoff founded the "Remscheider Bohrer-Fabrik Friedr. Aug. Mühlhoff". The company can look back on a long tradition and experience in the manufacture of drills. Today the company is called FAMAG-Werkzeugfabrik GmbH & amp; Co. KG. Initially, auger, auger and spoon bits were made for joiners, carpenters and wagon builders. In the course of time, production was expanded to include machine drills for wood, metal and stone, as well as earth drills and various special tools. Today the program includes a wide range of drilling and milling tools for wood and plastic processing, as well as for metal, stone, concrete and other materials. Our tools are used by industry, trade and DIY enthusiasts.
Today FAMAG manufactures on the most modern CNC machines and with the use of robot technology. Our actions are determined by a high quality standard and constant further development and improvement of the tools. Tradition and innovation have been brought into harmony to this day.
It is sold under the FAMAG trademark through specialist dealers in Germany and abroad. Bormax, the rapid Forstner bit, is a new FAMAG product that is protected by patent and trademark.
