• Ideal for deep hole drilling, also when turning.
• Conditionally suitable for applications in end grain (especially hardwood), as there are high demands on machine chucks.
• Thanks to the four clamping screws and the three surfaces on the shaft, it is also possible to combine several extensions with each other. It is thus possible to achieve even greater usable lengths.
• The tolerances of the mounting holes and the shanks are designed in such a way that precise concentricity is guaranteed even when using several extensions.

General information:
Each extension is provided with three clamping surfaces on the shank and has a location hole with four clamping screws at the front end. These clamping screws are arranged in pairs offset by 120°. E.g. With Bormax Forstner bits you clamp on two of the three clamping surfaces. The extensions are otherwise available with different mounting holes with a diameter of 8, 10, 12 and 13 mm, depending on the shank diameter of the various drills. They are also available in four different overall lengths of 80 mm, 125 mm, 250 mm and 400 mm.
