Description of application: Tear free accurate hinge borings. The tool steel version for uncoated softwood. Bormax®-geometry for coated boards and limited for plastic coated chipboards or MDF. Carbide tipped version can be used without problems for plastic coated materials
Practical advice and specialty of the tool: Only the BORMAX - Geometry tolls are suitable for freehand drilling. When using Bormax® at coated boards let runnig the power drill very slowly so that the teeth can tear open the coating and the drill will not be damaged by too much head
